<< Previous page The materials of Seahouses again don't conform to any 'chocolate-box' stereotypes, yes Seahouses is a picturesque fishing village but it is also one that has a job to do so the local sandstone has to sit alongside concrete to provide a solution that does the job. This is where I am looking for solutions or suggestions in collaboration with a range of other professionals - we want to plumb the emotional and cultural depth of Seahouses and combine our findings with these practical traits to insert structures or environments that are of the place, but along the way maybe we can continue the Seahouses tradition of pushing forward and not resting on laurels.
