This first visit was part of an induction event for the four current
Elixir artists to meet and to understand more about the art programme
and the facilities available at Stroud Valley Artspace that will
help create work for the hospital's plasma screen.
In the morning administrative matters were dealt with before a visit to meet representatives from Domestic Services and Paediatric Oncology. In the afternoon was my first visit to the Pharmacy.
Nick Butler (senior clinical pharmacist) gave us a brief but informative tour of the department, and from this glimpse I felt there were so many possibilities for artistic enquiry.
