After a short time spent watching proceedings in the stockroom Alex
Bosley invited me to spend the day in the manufacturing area. Again it
was a case of a lot to try and remember, making notes wherever possible.
Rather than listing in full, detailed information that I gathered I want to highlight some of the concepts and more general procedures that appealed to me and could inform the direction for my work.
An obvious thing of note (which became a strong thread throughout the day) is the procedures put in place to keep this one of the cleanest places in the hospital. Some of the processes required an almost balletic/choreographed routine.
